bass buffer pedal Browne Amplification The Fixer Dual Boost/Buffer PedalEvery guitarist loves buying pedals, we can't help it. Show us a flashy new pedal and we will sell a vital organ to make sure we can take it home. Every guitarist loves buying pedals, we can't help it. Show us a flashy new pedal and we will sell a vital organ to make sure we can take it home. But, just like putting tires on your car, there are those supporting actors that are necessary for the leading roles to shine. Enter THE FIXER. He's not flashy and doesn't need the spotlight or recognition, but he will make sure all your other pedals shine while making it easier for you to reach for that second guitar that you've been neglecting.

THE FIXER is part buffer, part booster, and all about how it makes your guitar feel. There are two different boost circuits. Why you may ask? How many times have you dialed in your tone to perfection and then reached for another guitar only to realize that the difference in output has changed how our drives and amp respond? FIXED. Need an always-on output for your tuner but also want a way to mute your signal chain to switch guitars? FIXED. Need a high-quality buffer to fix the impedance issues created by the dozens of guitar pedals on your board? FIXED.

After years on the road as a tech for some of the best guitarists out there, Dave realized the need for a pedal that would allow you to switch guitars without drastic changes in volume and tone. That’s why THE FIXER has two identical boosts. Not only do these boosts help to make up the slight gain loss from our favorite buffer but they also provide the option to add a bit more oomph to your signal if you so desire. Set your gain to perfection with your favorite humbucker guitar, then hit the mute switch, grab that vintage strat, boost the gain up to match your high output guitar and play on.

The unsung hero in this pedal, however, is the buffer. Buffers are tricky and opinions abound. A buffer can bring the life back to a long signal chain or thin out your tone and make it feel stiff. We made a buffer that we actually like and think you might too. Even if you aren't getting fancy with the boosts, the buffer in this pedal will make your whole rig "feel" better. More responsive tighter lows, and smoother highs while fixing the impedance issues like a buffer should. You might even forget it's there, but when you take it out, you'll wonder what happened to your tone.

Very durable and quality produced.
These filters seem very durable and quality made. The air filter looks exactly and feels exactly the same on the factory filter and very easy to replace. The cabin filter was also very easy to replace. This cabin filter feels a lot heavier and higher quality than the factory OEM. Be sure the rigid sides of the filter will fit on the left and right side when installing. If you try to install the filter with the information written on it facing out, then the cover will not fit properly. When the filter is in place correctly, the cover will be easy to put back in place. Both filters seem very durable and quality made.

Perfect fit
I started changing my own filters about 10 years ago when I realized how much I could save, and how incredibly UNcomplicated it is. Anyone can find super easy instruction and videos on YouTube. Obviously some cars differ, but I've yet to find one that isn't as easy as replacing batteries in a remote. These filters are the exactly same size, and are made from good quality materials that are equally as good as the OEM filters I pulled out of my 2025 Honda CRV Gas vehicle. They're wrapped in plastic, so they're as clean as an be when you get them. It literally takes less than 10 minutes to switch out these filters, so you're saving a bundle by doing it yourself! Compared to having a dealer do it, this is a super great value, as they not only charge for labor, they probably charge twice as much for the filters themselves. So far, I have had any issues with air flow, and have not gotten any weird warning signs, so clearly they're functioning in the same way the dealers parts do. I mean, they look and act just like the parts already in the vehicle, so I don't expect any issues.

Easy DIY replacement
This engine and cabin air filter kit was an easy and worthwhile replacement for my vehicle. Both filters fit exactly as expected and matched the originals in size and shape. Installation was quick and straightforward. The cabin air filter slid right into place, and the engine air filter seated properly with no gaps or bending. Airflow immediately felt improved, and there were no warning lights or fitment issues after installation. The filters appear well made and sturdy, not flimsy or overly thin. It’s convenient having both the engine and cabin filters included in one kit instead of purchasing them separately, especially for routine maintenance. If you drive a compatible CR-V or Civic and want a simple, cost effective DIY replacement, this kit does the job well and saves time.

Easy-to-Install Air Filter Kit for Civic
This engine and cabin air filter kit is a great choice for keeping your Civic running smoothly. Installation was straightforward, everything fit perfectly with no modifications needed, and the filters feel solid and well-made. After replacing them, the cabin air feels noticeably fresher, and the engine seems to breathe more easily. It’s convenient to replace both the engine and cabin filters at the same time, and the kit includes everything you need for a hassle-free swap. Overall, a reliable and practical kit for anyone looking to maintain their vehicle’s performance and improve interior air quality.

Good value, fit 2023 CRV 1.5L
These filters arrived wrapped in plastic in a cardboard box, shipped in a standard Amazon box. Initial quality seems very good. I've previously used store brand filters and oem filters in our 2023 CRV 1.5L, and these look comparable. They fit fine. If you have not changed your filters, there are good youtube videos that show how to do it, the CRV is well supported and pretty straightforward without having to buy a bunch of special tools. If you don't want to spend $100 at the dealership, these are a good value and only take about 5-10 minutes total to change once you have done it a few times. First time out, give yourself 30 minutes and be patient!
